Jiander, Diesel, and I decided to take advantage of the lunar eclipse, and “super moon” photo opportunity in the desert. From home, it’s about a two hour drive, depending on traffic–and my mood.We were originally a bit disappointed that there were clouds in the sky, as there was a fear that they would obscure the moon photos later. Alas, the clouds only added to the beauty of the moment. The weather wasn’t awful, which was a nice relief. As this is the desert, the temperature variations can be extreme on one end or another. In this case, it was in the lower 80’s which was quite pleasant.
